Your Impact and Responsibilities
As the Business Unit Performance Controller, your responsibilities will be both strategic and operational, ensuring that financial decisions are data-driven, innovative, and aligned with business growth objectives. Key areas of focus include:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead the performance controlling function for Siemens Smart Infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, delivering high-quality financial reporting, forecasting, and business steering to support informed decision-making. Your role will involve in-depth financial analysis, performance forecasting, and management reporting to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
- Collaborative Business Steering: Work closely with internal departments, regional management teams, and business leadership to identify growth opportunities, optimize productivity, and enhance profitability. - Budgeting and Strategic Planning: Own the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes for the Saudi Arabia business unit, ensuring alignment with regional and global targets. Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you will bring a robust blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities:
- Proven Experience: A minimum of 8+ years of experience in Performance Controlling, Execution/Operations, Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, or Business Controlling roles, with a strong track record of delivering financial excellence in a complex, international environment.
- Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes. Proven ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive business performance.
- Strategic Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior management to align financial strategies with business objectives. Ability to translate financial complexities into clear, strategic recommendations.
- Digital and Analytical Expertise: Proficiency in advanced analytics, financial modeling, and data visualization tools. Experience with AI-enabled solutions, automation, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
- Risk Management: Strong ability to identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks. Experience in implementing robust internal controls and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate governance standards.
