Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Technical Support: Deliver comprehensive technical assistance to users across all departments, addressing hardware, software, network, and system-related issues with precision and efficiency. Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries, ensuring swift resolutions and user satisfaction.
- IT Service Administration: Oversee and maintain essential IT services, including email systems, internet connectivity, shared file storage, and telephony solutions. Ensure seamless access to critical business applications such as Odoo and Power BI, collaborating closely with specialist teams to resolve technical obstacles and maintain operational flow.
- Hardware and Network Management: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of IT equipment, including computers, printers, scanners, and network devices. Monitor network performance, Wi-Fi connectivity, and service availability, proactively identifying and resolving connectivity issues to uphold high availability standards.
- System Maintenance and Security: Perform routine system maintenance, software updates, and endpoint protection to safeguard against vulnerabilities. Execute regular backup procedures and conduct periodic restore tests to ensure data integrity and business resilience. Implement and enforce information security policies, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), access controls, and data protection measures.
- User and Access Management: Create, modify, and revoke user accounts and access permissions in alignment with organizational policies, supporting onboarding, role transitions, and offboarding processes. Maintain meticulous records of IT assets, software licenses, and equipment assignments, ensuring compliance and efficient resource utilization.
- Vendor and Project Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to coordinate repairs, maintenance, and upgrades for telephony, CCTV, and peripheral systems. Support IT projects and technology improvements, aligning initiatives with approved strategic plans to enhance system performance and innovation.
- Training and Documentation: Provide foundational training and guidance to users on IT equipment, technology services, and secure usage practices. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for support requests, maintenance activities, and resolutions, ensuring transparency and knowledge retention within the team.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Leverage strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex IT issues, offering innovative solutions that enhance system reliability and user experience. Requirements
- Education: A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field. Formal education in IT or a technical discipline is a strong foundation for this role.
- Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in IT support or infrastructure operations, preferably within multi-departmental, multi-site, or industrial environments. Experience in diverse organizational settings will equip you with the versatility needed to excel in this role.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth practical knowledge of Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of computers, printers, and software. Proficiency in administering Microsoft 365, email services, user accounts, groups, and access permissions—beyond basic Office application usage—is essential.
- Networking Expertise: Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Wi-Fi protocols. Familiarity with VLANs, basic firewall configurations, and VPN setups will be advantageous in managing our network infrastructure.
- User Administration: Experience with user administration through Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID, shared-folder permissions, and backup/restore procedures. This expertise ensures secure and efficient management of user access and data protection.
- Additional Skills: Experience supporting telephony, CCTV systems, IT asset management, and vendor coordination is highly beneficial. While not mandatory, these skills will enhance your ability to contribute across a broader spectrum of IT services.
- Certifications: Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft certifications related to device and systems administration are preferred.
