We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Logistics Engineer to drive the implementation, optimization, and seamless integration of intelligent logistics solutions across our core production facilities. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient operation of our supply chain systems, including the stamping, body, painting, and final assembly lines. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end logistics system projects, from demand analysis and solution design to deployment, testing, and continuous improvement. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in logistics automation, system integration, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

As a Logistics Engineer, you will:

• Lead Logistics System Implementation: Oversee the deployment of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and other logistics solutions to streamline material handling processes across all production lines, including stamping, body, painting, and final assembly. Ensure alignment with operational workflows and system requirements while minimizing downtime risks.
• Drive Demand Analysis and Solution Design: Conduct thorough needs assessments to develop optimized logistics strategies tailored to high-volume production lines (4JPH and 38JPH). Align technical specifications with business objectives and evaluate solutions for scalability and efficiency.
• Manage Cross-Functional Projects: Collaborate with IT teams, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to integrate logistics systems with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), SAP EWM, PTL (Production Tracking & Logistics), AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots), ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems), CTU (Car Transfer Units), call buttons, and visualization tools. Ensure seamless interoperability to enhance real-time decision-making and operational agility.
• Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Handover: Lead end-to-end process validation, including UAT, to verify system functionality and resolve technical discrepancies. Deliver comprehensive project documentation and transition logistics systems to the operations team for sustained performance.
• Vendor Management and Contract Oversight: Partner with logistics suppliers to select and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with maintenance agreements and service-level expectations.
• Reporting and Stakeholder Engagement: Present project progress, insights, and improvement recommendations to senior management. Leverage strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate alignment across technical and business teams.

Core Competencies

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Project Governance: Proven ability to manage complex logistics initiatives, from planning to execution, with a focus on timelines, budgets, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience in SAP EWM, MES, and logistics system integration, including network communication protocols and automation technologies. Deep understanding of material handling, packaging, and automotive production workflows.
• Problem-Solving: Systematic approach to identifying inefficiencies, mitigating risks, and implementing data-driven optimizations to enhance system performance.
• Collaborative Leadership: Ability to bridge gaps between IT, operations, and external vendors to deliver cohesive solutions that align with business goals.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent English and Mandarin, with excellent presentation and documentation skills.

Candidates must possess 5+ years of relevant experience in logistics engineering, system implementation, or a related field, with a strong academic or professional background in supply chain, automation, or industrial engineering.
