As a key member of our Major Projects and Field Operations team, you will oversee the implementation of robust quality control and assurance programs, ensuring seamless collaboration with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Quality System Leadership: Develop, refine, and maintain comprehensive quality evaluation systems, protocols, and standards for materials, products, and field operations at major project sites. Ensure full compliance with global Otis standards and contractual obligations.
• Process Optimization: Design and implement advanced testing methodologies, process controls, and inspection techniques to guarantee the reliability and performance of Otis installations. Conduct root cause analyses to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven corrective actions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary quality assurance liaison for cross-functional teams, resolving issues proactively and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Coordinate with client inspection teams and global Otis quality assurance units to benchmark best practices and deploy them locally.
• Compliance and Auditing: Lead internal and external quality audits to verify adherence to regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and internal policies. Update safety procedures as needed to align with evolving industry standards.
• Training and Knowledge Transfer: Develop and deliver training materials to educate teams on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices. Empower colleagues with the skills to uphold Otis’ high-quality benchmarks.
• Supplier and Engineering Coordination: Review and approve quality requirements for manufacturing planning, supplier purchase orders, and engineering specifications to ensure alignment with contractual commitments.
• Innovation and Problem-Solving: Drive innovation in quality assurance by proposing process reengineering initiatives that enhance operational metrics and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, complemented by a strong foundation in quality management principles.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, engineering operations, or process improvement within the vertical transportation industry, preferably with a manufacturer of elevators or escalators.
• A preferred certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent, demonstrating your commitment to industry best practices.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement actionable solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and global stakeholders.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, regulatory compliance frameworks, and safety protocols relevant to the elevator and escalator industry.
• Technical proficiency in quality management software, statistical analysis tools, and project management methodologies.
