Key Responsibilities

In this strategic position, your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic IT Leadership & Compliance: Implement and enforce corporate IT standards, security policies, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS) to ensure full compliance with global and local requirements. Act as the primary liaison between Saudi Arabia and China HQ, providing regular updates on infrastructure alignment, incident escalations, and remediation progress.
• End-to-End IT Infrastructure Management: Independently oversee the full lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects, from site surveys and cabling planning to hardware deployment, system commissioning, and complete site rollouts. Ensure seamless integration of local operations with global IT architecture while maintaining high availability and performance.
• Endpoint & Application Standardization: Establish and manage a standardized PC endpoint framework, including bulk deployment, ongoing support, and troubleshooting of business-critical applications. Optimize user experience while maintaining security and operational consistency.
• Critical Systems Administration: Administer core enterprise systems, including Active Directory (AD), PBX, email platforms, virtualization environments (e.g., Citrix), and NAS storage solutions (e.g., Synology). Ensure reliability, scalability, and security across all managed systems.
• Network & Security Operations: Maintain and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and IP telephony systems while independently resolving network incidents. Oversee AV conferencing, access control, CCTV, and multi-function printers to support seamless communication and collaboration.
• Asset & License Management: Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets and software licenses—from requirement gathering and budget planning to procurement, inventory tracking, maintenance, audits, and retirement. Ensure cost efficiency and compliance with licensing agreements.
• On-Site & Technical Support: Provide hands-on technical support alongside the HQ network team, including office server room management, network equipment troubleshooting, and data center operations. Collaborate with local network operators and exchanges to resolve technical challenges.
• Documentation & Process Improvement: Develop comprehensive technical documentation and operational standard operating procedures (SOPs) to standardize local IT workflows, reduce redundancy, and enhance efficiency.
• Regulatory & Compliance Advocacy: Lead the local IT compliance and security program, interpreting regulatory requirements, implementing security controls, conducting risk assessments, and delivering security awareness training. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulators, external auditors, and internal compliance teams on all IT-related matters.

Qualifications & Experience

We are seeking a **highly skilled Senior IT Engineer** with:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, operations, security, and compliance, with a proven track record in supporting global regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS).
• Autonomous problem-solving skills to prioritize workloads, identify IT risks, and drive resolutions with full accountability for outcomes.
• Project coordination expertise to break down complex initiatives, track progress, and escalate constraints or technical challenges to HQ in a timely manner.
• Deep technical proficiency in PC hardware, Windows OS, macOS, application deployment, and troubleshooting, with hands-on experience in endpoint standardization.
• Advanced networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and the ability to independently resolve network incidents.
• Practical experience in administering Windows Server, Active Directory, email systems, PBX, virtualization platforms, and NAS solutions. Preferred certifications include MCSE, Microsoft 365 Certified, or Azure Administrator.
• Business-fluent English for clear stakeholder communication, technical documentation, and cross-cultural collaboration across time zones.
• Added advantages: Experience in Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning (DRP/BCP), regulatory liaison in a financial services environment, and familiarity with local data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA). Prior experience in a securities firm or investment bank is highly valued.
