Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will span multiple critical areas, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence:

• Accounts Payable (AP) Leadership: Oversee the entire AP lifecycle, from invoice receipt and validation to vendor payments and reconciliation. Ensure all transactions adhere to company policies, contracts, and approved payment terms while maintaining accurate vendor records and resolving discrepancies with precision.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) Management: Lead the AR process, including customer invoicing, receipt allocation, and account reconciliation. Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue balances, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and collection issues, ensuring optimal cash flow and customer satisfaction.
• Reconciliation and Accounting Support: Perform monthly reconciliations for vendor and customer accounts, assist with bank reconciliations, and support month-end closing activities. Ensure accurate general ledger postings and maintain robust accounting records to reflect the financial integrity of the organization.
• Compliance and VAT Expertise: Support the preparation of VAT-related documentation in compliance with ZATCA requirements, ensuring all invoices and credit notes meet Saudi VAT and e-invoicing standards. Maintain meticulous documentation to support regulatory audits and financial transparency.
• Strategic Reporting and Analysis: Prepare AP and AR aging reports, vendor/customer reconciliation summaries, and cash flow forecasts. Provide actionable financial insights to management, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational improvements.
• Audit and Regulatory Support: Compile and present AP/AR schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for internal and external audits. Collaborate with audit teams to address queries and ensure full compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, complemented by five or more years of hands-on experience in AP and AR management.
• Proven expertise in vendor management, customer billing, collections, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes, with a focus on maintaining financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi VAT regulations, e-invoicing requirements, and ZATCA compliance, ensuring all financial transactions meet legal and industry standards.
• A professional certification from the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) is mandatory. Additional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies and processes.
