As a Network & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at IoTech, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless connectivity, reliability, and security for our clients and internal systems. This position demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaborative problem-solving to deliver end-to-end solutions that align with IoTech’s commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Network Architecture and Management: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive LAN, WAN, VLAN, and Wi-Fi networks, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. Leverage expertise in routers, switches, VPNs, and firewalls to build resilient infrastructure that supports IoTech’s connectivity solutions.
• Cloud Infrastructure Expertise: Specialize in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments, designing and maintaining cloud architectures that drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and optimize cloud-based solutions tailored to client needs.
• Network Security and Optimization: Implement robust security protocols, monitor network traffic, and troubleshoot performance issues to ensure uninterrupted service. Stay ahead of emerging threats by integrating advanced security measures and ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
• Technical Leadership and Support: Provide technical guidance during pre-sales activities, contributing to proposal development, RFP/RFQ responses, and client engagements. Act as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between technical requirements and business objectives.
• Documentation and Collaboration: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including network diagrams, implementation plans, and architectural blueprints. Foster collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Systems Integration and API Connectivity: Facilitate seamless integration between disparate systems and APIs, ensuring interoperability and data consistency across IoTech’s ecosystem of solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring a strong foundation in networking, cloud technologies, and IT infrastructure, coupled with a proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous learning. Ideal candidates will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field, with a passion for staying current with technological advancements.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in networking, IT infrastructure, and cloud solutions, with a proven track record of designing, deploying, and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Deep expertise in networking fundamentals, including firewalls, VPNs, traffic analysis, and network security protocols. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for ensuring data integrity and system resilience.
• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including cloud architecture, resource management, and optimization strategies. Proficiency in leveraging GCP tools to build scalable and secure cloud environments.
• Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux environments, with experience in system administration, scripting, and automation to streamline IT operations.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills, enabling you to diagnose issues efficiently and implement effective solutions. A detail-oriented approach to documentation and process improvement is essential.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
