Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Electrical Engineering for Aviation Infrastructure: Oversee the planning, design coordination, and execution of electrical systems for airport and airfield projects, ensuring alignment with aviation safety and operational standards.
• Technical Coordination and Compliance: Work closely with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure electrical systems—including Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL), Runway and Taxiway Lighting, Approach Lighting Systems, Power Distribution Networks, Backup Power Systems, and Navigational Aid Electrical Systems—adhere to ICAO, FAA/EASA, IATA, IEC/IEEE, and local regulatory requirements.
• Design Review and Validation: Evaluate and approve electrical design drawings, specifications, calculations, and shop drawings to guarantee technical integrity and compliance with project requirements.
• Construction Oversight: Monitor electrical installation progress, verify adherence to design specifications, and conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety throughout construction phases.
• System Integration and Testing: Facilitate seamless integration of electrical systems with civil, mechanical, and ICT infrastructure, while supporting testing, commissioning, and energization activities for operational readiness.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with airport operators, aviation authorities, design consultants, and contractors to align technical solutions with project goals and regulatory demands.
• Documentation and Handover: Ensure comprehensive documentation for system handover, including inspection test plans, method statements, and compliance records.
• Technical Leadership: Participate in project coordination workshops, technical meetings, and audits to drive best practices and continuous improvement in electrical system performance.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in power systems and aviation-specific applications.
• Minimum 8 years of electrical engineering experience, with a proven track record in large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly within airport or airfield environments.
• Hands-on experience in electrical power systems design, airfield lighting systems, and system integration, including familiarity with Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL), Runway Lighting, and Backup Power Solutions.
• Proven ability in electrical design review, construction supervision, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring alignment with international aviation standards.
• Deep understanding of aviation infrastructure regulations, including ICAO, FAA/EASA guidelines, IATA recommendations, and IEC/IEEE standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges in a high-stakes environment.
