Key Responsibilities
Your role will encompass a comprehensive range of responsibilities designed to elevate patient care and operational excellence:
- Clinical Leadership: Conduct thorough patient assessments, document findings meticulously, and develop individualized care plans that align with best practices in diagnostic radiology.
- Patient Education and Engagement: Empower patients with clear, concise information regarding their health conditions, diagnostic procedures, treatment options, and preventive measures. Foster trust and collaboration by explaining complex medical concepts in an accessible manner.
- Diagnostic Excellence: Order, review, and interpret diagnostic investigations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in results. Prescribe medications and interventions as clinically indicated, adhering to evidence-based guidelines.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of clinical practice by adhering to Nahdi Care Clinics’ policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks, including those set by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and the College of Biomedical Auditing and Health Informatics (CBAHI).
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with colleagues across departments, external agencies, and stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care and operational efficiency.
- Continuous Professional Development: Actively participate in and contribute to educational initiatives, including rounds, conferences, lectures, and journal clubs, to enhance the clinical knowledge and skills of both junior and senior staff.
- Quality Improvement and Innovation: Engage in continuous quality improvement activities to ensure that clinical practices meet and exceed national and international standards, including those outlined by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
- Specialty-Specific Privileges: Perform specialized diagnostic and interpretive tasks within the scope of your training, experience, and clinical privileges as approved by the SCFHS.
Additionally, you will contribute to fire safety protocols, maintain compliance with clinical and departmental standards, and participate in organizational initiatives that drive excellence in healthcare delivery.
Work Environment and Schedule
This position operates within a fully indoor clinical setting, offering a structured and supportive work environment. You will be expected to work:
- **6 working days per week**, with **1 day off** per week.
- **8 net working hours per shift**, following a schedule approved by the Head of Department.
Qualifications and Requirements
To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Hold a **Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery** from a recognized university, complemented by either a **Master’s degree in Diagnostic Radiology** or a **Fellowship approved by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)**.
- Experience: Possess **at least 2 years of clinical experience** following your Master’s degree or be eligible to sit the board examination in your specialty.
- Licensure: Be licensed as a **Registrar in Diagnostic Radiology** by the SCFHS, ensuring compliance with Saudi healthcare regulations.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in **Office and Health Information Systems** to manage patient records and clinical data efficiently.
- Language Skills: Achieve **fluent proficiency** in both **English and Arabic**, including speaking, writing, and patient communication.
