What You’ll Do

As a Frontend Software Engineer at Lucidya, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform by:

• Building High-Performance Frontend Applications: Develop production-grade web applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, ensuring scalability, reusability, and responsiveness. Transform product requirements and design mockups into intuitive, user-centric interfaces that drive engagement.
• Mastering Real-Time Interactions: Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, WebSockets, and Socket.IO to create seamless real-time experiences. Handle complex event-driven flows, including RabbitMQ and backend messaging systems, while managing server state efficiently with React Query/TanStack Query and Redux/Redux Toolkit when necessary.
• Optimizing Performance and Architecture: Continuously refine frontend architecture, enhance performance, and improve code organization to ensure maintainability and long-term success.
• Embracing AI-Enabled Development: Leverage AI tools as an engineering accelerator—researching, prototyping, debugging, and refactoring code more efficiently. Provide clear context to AI tools to generate accurate, context-aware solutions while critically validating outputs to uphold quality standards. Automate repetitive tasks to focus on high-impact engineering challenges.
• Ensuring Quality Through Testing: Adopt a quality-first mindset by writing unit tests (Jest) and integration tests, as well as maintaining end-to-end tests (Playwright). Actively participate in code reviews, identify edge cases, and debug issues systematically to prevent regressions before they impact users.
• Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with frontend engineers, backend developers, QA specialists, product managers, and designers to deliver cohesive solutions. Take ownership of your work—from requirements clarification to production deployment—while fostering transparency and addressing technical risks proactively.
