Key Responsibilities

As the **ServiceNow GRC Developer**, your responsibilities will span a broad spectrum of GRC disciplines, requiring both technical prowess and strategic thinking:

• End-to-End GRC Solution Architecture: Design and implement comprehensive ServiceNow IRM and GRC solutions across critical domains, including Policy Management, Compliance Management, Audit Management, Risk Management, Business Continuity Management (BCM), and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM). Ensure alignment with organizational risk objectives, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Workflow and Process Automation: Develop and optimize policy lifecycle workflows, governance processes, and controls, including policy acknowledgments, exceptions, waivers, and document management systems. Configure robust compliance frameworks, regulatory obligations, control libraries, and remediation processes to ensure continuous adherence.
• Risk and Compliance Intelligence: Implement advanced risk management capabilities such as risk registers, risk assessments, scoring models, treatment plans, and risk appetite frameworks. Configure Operational Risk Management (ORM) controls, including RCSA (Risk and Control Self-Assessment), KRIs (Key Risk Indicators), KCIs (Key Control Indicators), loss event management, and scenario analysis to enhance proactive risk mitigation.
• Business Continuity and Resilience: Design and configure Business Continuity Management (BCM) solutions, including Business Impact Analysis (BIA), recovery strategies, crisis management, testing programs, dependency mapping, and recovery plans. Ensure organizations are prepared to navigate disruptions with minimal operational impact.
• Third-Party Risk Governance: Develop and manage Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes, encompassing vendor onboarding, due diligence, risk assessments, questionnaires, monitoring, and remediation workflows to safeguard against external vulnerabilities.
• Audit and Evidence Management: Configure Audit Management capabilities, including audit planning, engagement tracking, findings management, evidence collection, and issue resolution to ensure audit readiness and continuous improvement.
• Custom Development and Integration: Leverage ServiceNow’s development tools—such as Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, ACLs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Notifications, Reports, and Dashboards—to create tailored solutions that address unique business needs. Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, compliance reports, risk heatmaps, and KPI reporting to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• System Integration: Seamlessly integrate ServiceNow IRM/GRC with external systems, including Active Directory, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, CMDB, Service Mapping, SecOps, Vendor Portals, and document repositories, ensuring data consistency and operational cohesion across the enterprise.
• Agile Delivery and Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile delivery cycles, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and hypercare activities. Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of GRC initiatives.
• Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Author and maintain technical design documents, configuration guides, knowledge transfer materials, and implementation playbooks to support ongoing operations and future scalability.
• Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all development efforts adhere to organizational governance standards, regulatory requirements, and ServiceNow’s best practices, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess a blend of technical expertise, industry certifications, and hands-on experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – IRM (CIS-IRM), ITIL Foundation, and Agile or Scrum certifications.
• Experience: Minimum of five years of ServiceNow development experience, with a proven track record of delivering at least two full-cycle ServiceNow IRM implementations. Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following domains:

• Operational Risk Management (ORM)
