As the Manager, ITC, your strategic vision will be instrumental in defining and executing a forward-thinking digital roadmap that supports MEC’s operational and corporate objectives. You will lead the implementation of cutting-edge systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity frameworks while ensuring full compliance with Saudi regulatory standards, including the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). With a focus on minimizing technology risk and maximizing operational readiness, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that every aspect of our ITC ecosystem—from cloud connectivity to disaster recovery—operates at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

Your role demands a blend of strategic foresight and hands-on execution. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

• ICT Strategy & Digital Transformation: Develop and implement a robust ITC strategy and digital roadmap that aligns with MEC’s long-term vision, ensuring technology drives operational readiness, business mobilization, and growth. Champion an IT-as-a-Service culture, fostering a customer-centric approach that prioritizes responsiveness, value, and user satisfaction across all levels of the organization.
• Infrastructure Leadership: Lead the selection, deployment, and integration of scalable, secure, and high-performance ITC systems, ensuring seamless interoperability between business and operational technology (OT) environments. Oversee the establishment of resilient infrastructure, including cloud connectivity, backup systems, and disaster recovery solutions, to safeguard data integrity and business continuity.
• Budget & Project Management: Drive ITC projects, procurement, and vendor relationships with precision, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and commercial value within approved budgets. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize investments that deliver measurable outcomes while mitigating risks.
• Cybersecurity & Compliance: Establish and maintain rigorous cybersecurity, data governance, and risk controls to protect MEC’s digital assets. Ensure full compliance with KSA regulatory requirements, PDPL, and localization mandates, while proactively addressing emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with Saudi leadership, business functions, and external partners to align technology solutions with strategic priorities. Negotiate and manage vendor agreements, ensuring service quality, performance, and long-term value for MEC’s operations.
• Proactive Technology Innovation: Anticipate future needs by identifying technology gaps and emerging trends, advocating for digital transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage. Stay ahead of industry advancements to position MEC as a leader in Saudi’s evolving mining sector.

This role requires a minimum of 15–20 years of experience in implementing and managing ITC systems within a mining or exploration environment of comparable scale and complexity. You will bring a proven track record of leadership, mentorship, and strategic decision-making, coupled with a deep understanding of OT/IT convergence, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment—with regular travel and on-site engagement across KSA—will be critical to your success.
