Key Responsibilities

As the Track & 3rd Rail Lead Engineer, your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of the project, from conceptual design to commissioning. Your strategic contributions will include:

• Advanced Track Design: Develop and refine track alignment layouts, track geometry, and specialized trackwork designs tailored to at-grade, elevated, and underground sections, ensuring precision and compliance with industry standards.
• Ballastless Track Systems: Design and coordinate state-of-the-art slab track systems for diverse terrain, optimizing performance and durability across all project phases.
• Third Rail Infrastructure: Lead the design and implementation of 750V DC third rail systems, including conductor rail arrangements, expansion joints, and sectioning plans, ensuring reliability and safety.
• Interface Management: Act as the technical liaison between Civil, Traction Power, Signaling, Rolling Stock, and Systems Integration teams, resolving complex interfaces and ensuring seamless integration of all subsystems.
• Compliance and Review: Participate in rigorous design review meetings with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities, advocating for technical excellence and adherence to EN, IEC, and project-specific standards.
• Field Support and Commissioning: Provide hands-on technical support during construction, conduct site inspections, and oversee testing and commissioning activities to guarantee flawless execution.
• Deliverable Development: Author and oversee engineering deliverables, including detailed drawings, technical reports, and comprehensive risk assessments, ensuring clarity and accountability throughout the project.

Who You Are

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Railway Engineering, or a related discipline, providing a strong technical foundation.
