As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will drive the organization’s **Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)** initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and international security frameworks. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a culture of security awareness, conducting proactive risk assessments, and leading incident response efforts to minimize potential breaches and disruptions.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:

• Cybersecurity Infrastructure Management: Design, configure, and maintain our organization’s cybersecurity infrastructure, including firewalls, antivirus systems, encryption protocols, intrusion detection and prevention systems, identity and access management (IAM), network monitoring solutions, and Security Operations Center (SOC) systems. Ensure these systems are reliable, scalable, secure, and operating at peak performance to protect sensitive data and critical assets.
• GRC Leadership: Oversee and enhance our cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to established controls, policies, procedures, standards, regulations, and frameworks. Conduct regular assessments, security drills, and training initiatives to reinforce compliance and mitigate risks.
• Incident Response and Threat Mitigation: Detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including intrusions, breaches, and emerging threats, in strict alignment with organizational policies and industry best practices. Develop and implement incident response plans to minimize downtime and financial losses.
• Vendor and Service Management: Collaborate with external vendors and managed service providers to ensure cybersecurity solutions meet contractual scope, quality, and cost constraints. Evaluate vendor performance and align service delivery with organizational objectives.
• IT Demand and Compliance Coordination: Assess and evaluate the cybersecurity implications of IT demand requests, ensuring approved projects comply with relevant policies, procedures, and project management frameworks. Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on security requirements and risk mitigation strategies.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to recommend and implement enhancements that strengthen our security posture. Drive innovation in security practices to proactively address emerging challenges.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• Education: A **Bachelor’s Degree** in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Experience: **Minimum 5 years** of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on **Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)**. Experience in enterprise security frameworks, risk assessment, and compliance management is essential.
• Certifications: Preferred certifications include:
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, including firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection systems, SIEM solutions, and identity management platforms. Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and SOC 2 is highly valued.
• Communication and Leadership: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong leadership skills to mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Language: Fully proficient in **English**. Arabic proficiency is not required.
