Key Responsibilities

As an IT & Diagnostics Systems Project Manager, your role will encompass a blend of project oversight and technical coordination, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technological execution. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end implementations of Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solutions across hospitals, clinics, and expansive healthcare networks. Oversee multi-site go-live strategies, resource allocation, and post-implementation stabilization to ensure smooth transitions and sustained system performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between clinical teams, IT specialists, vendors, and operational stakeholders. Facilitate seamless communication and alignment to mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and drive project success through collaborative decision-making.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), workflow diagrams, risk assessments, and executive status reports. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• RCM Optimization: Implement initiatives to enhance clean-claim rates, reduce Accounts Receivable (A/R) days, and improve billing/coding compliance. Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for financial workflows, ensuring operational efficiency and revenue integrity.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations and scope for concurrent, large-scale digital transformation projects. Leverage your expertise to anticipate challenges, allocate resources effectively, and deliver measurable outcomes that align with organizational goals.
• Diagnostics System Support (Support Specialist Track): For candidates focused on diagnostics systems, oversee Laboratory Information System (LIS)/HIS integrations and middleware deployments that connect diagnostic analyzers to core hospital and lab systems. Ensure seamless ASTM and HL7 protocol connectivity between analyzers, middleware, and the main HIS/LIS infrastructure.
• Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor HIS and lab network performance, track testing and turnaround metrics, and proactively troubleshoot connectivity issues. Own the configuration and certification of the Analyzer Management System (AMS) for connected diagnostic equipment.
• Customer and Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer/site complaints related to system integration, data flow, or connectivity challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance system reliability and user satisfaction.
• Data-Driven Improvement: Analyze system and data issues to identify recurring problems and opportunities for process optimization. Develop actionable reports and recommendations to drive continuous improvement in diagnostics and IT operations.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a proven track record in healthcare IT, equipped with both technical acumen and leadership capabilities. Ideal candidates will possess:

• Project Manager Track: 10+ years of experience leading healthcare IT, HIS, EMR, ERP, or RCM implementation projects, with a preference for candidates who have successfully managed multi-site rollouts. A Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI-ACP certification is highly advantageous. Familiarity with platforms such as VistA, Hakeem, CPRS, or BCMA is a significant plus.
• Support Specialist Track: Hands-on experience in LIS/HIS/middleware integration within diagnostics, laboratory, or hospital IT environments, with expertise in ASTM and HL7 protocols. Prior experience with specific diagnostic/lab systems or brands relevant to analyzer integration is highly desirable.
• Clinical or Health-Informatics Background: A background in nursing, Medical Informatics (MIS), biomedical sciences, or a related field is preferred for both tracks, as it fosters a deeper understanding of clinical workflows and system requirements.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across clinical, technical, and vendor teams. Your role will require balancing diverse perspectives to drive cohesive project outcomes.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Nursing, or a related discipline is required.
• Location and Language: Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with fluent proficiency in both Arabic and English to facilitate seamless communication within a multicultural environment.
