Key Responsibilities

As the Financial Reporting Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Leadership in Financial Reporting: Oversee the entire year-end financial reporting process, ensuring alignment with international accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with the Controller to refine financial reporting frameworks and enhance operational effectiveness.
• Audit and Compliance: Manage the external audit process, including the preparation and review of audit working papers and supporting documentation. Ensure timely completion of regulatory and statutory reports while maintaining compliance with government surveys and external submissions.
• Financial Integrity and Analysis: Provide accurate, data-driven financial information to support senior management in strategic decision-making. Oversee bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding items promptly to maintain financial accuracy.
• Process Optimization: Assess the impact of new accounting standards on financial reporting and disclosures. Develop and enhance financial reporting controls, procedures, and ERP-driven workflows to ensure data integrity and efficiency. Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and reduce operational risks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance teams, cross-functional projects, and senior leadership to deliver financial insights and reporting recommendations. Support the consolidation and reporting for controlled and affiliated entities, ensuring cohesive financial oversight.
• Strategic Financial Guidance: Establish short- and long-term priorities for the Financial Operations function, aligning financial reporting with broader business objectives. Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on financial trends, risks, and growth opportunities.

Key Requirements

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• 10–15 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or finance, with a proven track record in managing external audits, regulatory compliance, and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, complemented by a CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification.
• Deep expertise in financial reporting standards, including IFRS and local regulatory requirements, with experience in consolidation and affiliated entity reporting.
• Technical proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, modeling, and financial forecasting.
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide finance teams, communicate complex financial insights, and drive process improvements.
• A meticulous and analytical mindset, coupled with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy.
