In this dynamic role, you will serve as the primary liaison between BMS and healthcare professionals (HCPs), ensuring that our therapeutic solutions are understood, adopted, and utilized effectively. With a minimum of 90% of your time dedicated to fieldwork, you will engage directly with physicians, clinical pharmacists, HEOR experts, and multidisciplinary teams to foster informed decision-making and optimize patient care. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while aligning with our core values of integrity, innovation, and patient-centric care.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will span a broad spectrum of strategic and operational functions, ensuring that BMS remains at the forefront of hematology treatment paradigms:

• Disease and Treatment Landscape Expertise
  Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of hematological diseases, emerging therapies, and the evolving treatment landscape. Leverage your analytical skills to synthesize complex clinical data, providing actionable insights to internal teams that shape BMS’s future strategic initiatives. Identify critical knowledge gaps within your territory and design targeted educational programs to address the evolving needs of HCPs, ensuring they are equipped with the latest evidence-based practices.
• Scientific Engagement and Product Communication
  Design and execute a territory-specific engagement plan tailored to predefined metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). Serve as a trusted advisor to HCPs, delivering accurate, scientifically rigorous presentations and responding to inquiries with confidence. Stay ahead of the curve by continuously updating your knowledge of emerging data related to BMS’s hematology portfolio, ensuring that your interactions reflect the most current medical advancements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate medical insights into strategic initiatives that enhance product adoption and clinical outcomes.
• Product Enlistment and Economic Value Advocacy
  Conduct comprehensive hospital mapping to develop customized engagement strategies for each institution. Analyze patient journeys to identify access barriers and collaborate with key stakeholders to facilitate formulary enlistment of BMS products. Articulate the scientific and economic value of our therapies to HCPs, clinical pharmacists, and decision-makers, leveraging Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) evidence to support informed healthcare decisions. Engage with government agencies and healthcare organizations to advocate for the optimal integration of BMS products into clinical practice.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration and Execution
  Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, gaining a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the healthcare landscape. Align your activities with cross-functional team objectives, ensuring seamless execution of programs that advance BMS’s strategic goals. Proactively seek input from diverse teams to refine your approach, ensuring that your initiatives are comprehensive, data-driven, and aligned with the broader treatment landscape.
• Compliance and Ethical Excellence
  Uphold the highest standards of compliance, adhering to all internal policies and external regulations governing scientific engagement. Promote a culture of ethical integrity, ensuring that all interactions with HCPs and stakeholders are conducted with transparency and accountability. Report any potential compliance concerns promptly to management, demonstrating your commitment to maintaining BMS’s reputation as a trusted and responsible pharmaceutical partner.
