Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Deploy Infrastructure Solutions: Architect, implement, and manage on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalents). Ensure seamless integration and scalability to support evolving business needs.
• Optimize System Performance: Monitor and analyze system performance, capacity, and availability to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks. Implement automation and monitoring tools to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Cloud and Virtualization Management: Deploy and manage workloads across leading cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) while adhering to security and cost optimization best practices. Leverage virtualization technologies to maximize resource utilization and ensure high availability.
• Network and Security Administration: Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain LAN/WAN environments, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and routing protocols. Collaborate with security teams to enforce robust access controls, patch management, and compliance standards.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Design and implement backup solutions, replication strategies, and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data and ensure rapid recovery in the event of failures or outages.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with applications, database administration (DBA), and support teams to align infrastructure solutions with business objectives. Participate in business continuity planning and execute IT initiatives with agility.
• Documentation and Process Improvement: Maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and architecture diagrams. Continuously evaluate and enhance processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with a focus on high availability, security, and performance. Contribute innovative solutions to drive technological advancements within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience (0-2 years) in IT infrastructure administration, with hands-on expertise in managing Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V. Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, and routing protocols.
• Cloud and Automation Skills: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and proficiency in automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible. Ability to implement infrastructure automation and configuration management solutions to streamline operations.
• Storage and Backup Expertise: Deep knowledge of storage solutions, backup strategies, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues. Commitment to maintaining high availability, security, and performance across all infrastructure components.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including security, applications, and support teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong command of both oral and written English, with Arabic language proficiency being a significant advantage.
• Certifications (Preferred): Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate will strengthen your candidacy.
