We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology Registrar to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will play a central part in delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care across all stages of patient treatment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Clinical Care Delivery: Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care, including antenatal assessments, labor and delivery management, and postnatal support. Assist in complex obstetric procedures and gynecologic surgeries under direct supervision, ensuring adherence to evidence-based protocols.
• Emergency and Critical Care: Respond promptly to urgent obstetric and gynecologic emergencies, collaborating with consultants, nurses, and neonatal specialists to ensure timely and effective interventions.
• Patient Education and Counseling: Offer compassionate guidance on reproductive health, family planning, and postpartum care, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their well-being.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Participate actively in ward rounds, case discussions, and clinical audits to refine diagnostic and treatment approaches. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development programs.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate, detailed medical records using electronic systems, ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
• On-Call and Shift Responsibilities: Commit to flexible scheduling, including on-call duties and emergency coverage, to support continuous patient care.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• A recognized medical degree and eligibility for registration with the relevant medical authority in Egypt.
• Proven clinical experience in antenatal care, labor and delivery, gynecologic outpatient services, and postoperative management.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a focus on evidence-based practice in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Exceptional communication abilities, enabling clear and respectful interaction with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• A commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and adherence to ethical standards in healthcare delivery.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and digital tools for efficient documentation and collaboration.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
