الوصف الوظيفي

Join Ninety One’s Dynamic Emerging Market Corporate Debt Team in Saudi Arabia

At Ninety One, we are an independent, globally recognized asset management firm with a distinctive focus on delivering differentiated outcomes in fixed income, credit, and specialist equities. With over $226.5 billion in assets under management, our firm has grown organically since its inception in 1991, evolving into a leader in identifying and capitalizing on investment opportunities within emerging markets and the energy transition. Now, we are expanding our presence in Saudi Arabia, and we are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Credit Analyst to join our Emerging Market Corporate Debt team.

As part of our global investment capability, this role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the Chief Investment Officer of Ninety One’s Saudi entity while contributing to the development of regional strategies. Our team operates in a collaborative, intellectually stimulating environment that values innovation, client-centric outcomes, and continuous learning. This is an exciting opportunity to grow alongside a team that is building a dedicated regional presence and shaping the future of credit investment in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will:

  • Conduct rigorous, independent credit research on financial institutions and corporates across Saudi Arabia and other emerging markets, leveraging both bottom-up and top-down analytical frameworks to identify high-conviction investment opportunities.
  • Develop and communicate compelling investment ideas designed to outperform benchmarks, supported by robust financial analysis and market insights.
  • Formulate and articulate clear, data-driven investment recommendations to portfolio managers, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and risk parameters.
  • Contribute to macroeconomic and sectoral analysis to refine country, sector, and risk positioning, ensuring a holistic view of market dynamics.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of issuers in real-time, adjusting recommendations based on evolving credit conditions and market developments.
  • Analyze financial statements, credit metrics, and qualitative factors to assess issuer fundamentals, sustainability, and long-term viability.
  • Incorporate macroeconomic trends, geopolitical factors, and market sentiment into investment analysis, ensuring a well-rounded perspective.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of proprietary research tools, databases, and analytical frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare high-quality written research, internal reports, and client presentations, ensuring clarity, depth, and actionable insights.
  • Actively participate in investment meetings, contributing to strategic discussions and driving ongoing improvements in research processes.

What You Bring to the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in credit analysis and a passion for emerging markets. Ideal candidates will have:

  • 4+ years of experience in fixed income, credit research, or investment analysis, preferably within asset management, investment banking, or a credit rating agency.
  • A deep understanding of financial institutions and corporate credit fundamentals, with a keen ability to assess risk and opportunity.
  • Familiarity with emerging markets, particularly Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC region, though we welcome diverse perspectives.
  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; progress toward or completion of the CFA qualification is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with an unwavering attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a proactive mindset, driven by a desire to continuously learn and innovate.
  • Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in Arabic is required to effectively engage with local stakeholders.

Why This Matters

At Ninety One, we believe in the power of integrity, conviction, and curiosity to drive meaningful outcomes. We seek individuals who:

  • Are committed to ethical practices and doing what is right, even in challenging environments.
  • Possess high conviction in their analysis and are comfortable articulating and defending their opinions.
  • Have the ability to analyze, interpret, and assimilate vast amounts of information quickly and accurately.
  • Are intrigued by technology and its potential to enhance research, efficiency, and innovation within our team.

This role is not just about analyzing credit—it’s about shaping the future of investment strategies in a rapidly evolving market. If you are passionate about emerging markets, driven by intellectual rigor, and eager to contribute to a team that values collaboration and growth, we invite you to be part of Ninety One’s journey in Saudi Arabia.
