Key Responsibilities

As our Data Scientist, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and Deploying Advanced Models: Design, build, and deploy sophisticated machine learning models to address critical business challenges, such as predictive analytics, classification systems, and recommendation engines that enhance user engagement and financial outcomes.
• Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conduct in-depth exploratory analysis to identify trends, patterns, and hidden opportunities within large datasets, transforming raw data into strategic insights that drive decision-making.
• Data Pipeline and Integration: Collaborate closely with engineering teams to integrate machine learning models into production environments, ensuring seamless data flow and system optimization.
• Visualization and Communication: Create compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn) to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Statistical and Experimental Analysis: Design and execute A/B tests and statistical experiments to evaluate the performance of business initiatives, ensuring data-backed decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Model Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor model performance in real-world scenarios, refine algorithms as needed, and ensure models remain accurate, efficient, and aligned with evolving business goals.
• Innovation and Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI, incorporating best practices and emerging technologies to enhance our platform’s capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills

We are seeking a candidate with a strong academic background and hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning engineering, or analytics, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Proficient in Python or R for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
• Strong expertise in SQL and experience working with relational databases to extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost.
• Solid understanding of statistical principles, probability theory, and experimental design, particularly A/B testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, or Seaborn.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with big data tools such as Spark or Hadoop for scalable data processing.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools, including MLflow, Airflow, Docker, and Kubernetes for model deployment and management.
• Exposure to specialized areas such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), computer vision, or deep learning.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum frameworks to deliver iterative solutions.
• Soft Skills:
• Exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with a curiosity-driven approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Certifications (A Plus):
• Google Professional Data Engineer, Microsoft Azure Data Scientist Associate (DP-100), AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, IBM Data Science Professional Certificate, Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), TensorFlow Developer Certificate, SAS Certified Data Scientist, or Deep Learning Specialization (DeepLearning.AI).
