Key Responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity Engineer at Moyasar, your role will be multifaceted and impactful. You will:

• Design and enforce cybersecurity controls aligned with SAMA Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), ensuring our systems meet the highest industry benchmarks.
• Deploy and manage advanced cybersecurity solutions, including Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Mobile Device Management (MDM), and vulnerability assessment tools to proactively identify and mitigate security risks.
• Protect critical payment systems and information assets by implementing robust security measures, conducting thorough risk assessments, and ensuring seamless integration of security requirements across all business operations.
• Lead cybersecurity risk assessments to evaluate vulnerabilities within our systems and information infrastructure, providing actionable insights to mitigate potential threats.
• Support and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance across all departments while fostering a culture of security awareness.
• Monitor, investigate, and manage cybersecurity incidents with precision and urgency, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and minimize impact on our operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to embed security requirements into product development, operational processes, and business strategies, ensuring a holistic approach to cybersecurity.
• Adhere to regulatory obligations, including reporting requirements to SAMA, while maintaining transparency and accountability in all cybersecurity activities.
• Elevate cybersecurity awareness among employees through targeted training programs, workshops, and initiatives that promote best practices and a proactive security mindset.
• Monitor and report Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our cybersecurity measures and drive continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cybersecurity Engineer with a proven track record in safeguarding digital assets. Ideal candidates will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong academic foundation in security principles.
• Hands-on experience in cybersecurity or information security, with a demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain security solutions.
• A deep understanding of SAMA CSF and PCI DSS, including the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to real-world scenarios.
• Expertise in security operations, including experience with EDR, endpoint security, and vulnerability management tools to detect and respond to threats effectively.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity risk management and incident response, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential security breaches.
• Preferred experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial services, providing insights into the unique security challenges of the payments industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to assess complex security scenarios and develop innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, facilitating collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders while ensuring clear and effective security messaging.
