We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Joint Venture Finance Director to lead the financial operations of our overseas subsidiaries within a publicly listed conglomerate. This pivotal role demands a strategic finance professional with a proven track record in international or Middle Eastern financial environments, coupled with exceptional bilingual (Chinese and English) fluency. Reporting directly to the JV General Manager and the Group CFO, this position will oversee a team of eight finance professionals, driving financial excellence, compliance, and operational efficiency across diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities

As the JV Finance Director, your responsibilities will span a broad spectrum of financial leadership, ensuring seamless alignment between local operations and corporate objectives. Your strategic oversight will encompass:

• Financial Accounting and Strategic Analysis: Lead the comprehensive financial accounting and analytical functions for overseas subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with international financial standards. Identify operational inefficiencies, propose actionable solutions, and leverage financial insights to drive informed decision-making for sustainable growth.
• External Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the Group Finance Department and external entities, including tax authorities, banking institutions, and audit firms. Collaborate with the General Manager to manage public relations, ensuring seamless communication and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Financial System Implementation: Under the guidance of the Group Finance Department, design, refine, and implement the eight core financial systems critical to overseas operations. Ensure these systems are scalable, efficient, and aligned with both local regulatory frameworks and corporate best practices.
• Team Leadership and Development: Adhere to the Group’s N+2 management principles to build and mentor a high-performing finance team. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth, empowering team members to excel in their roles.
• Internal Control and Risk Mitigation: Establish and enforce stringent internal controls to ensure full compliance with local tax laws and regulatory standards. Proactively identify and mitigate financial and operational risks, offering innovative solutions to enhance resilience and profitability.
• Contract Review and Legal Compliance: Conduct rigorous reviews of all economic contracts (excluding salary agreements) to ensure alignment with tax laws and Group internal control policies. Provide strategic recommendations to minimize legal risks and optimize contractual terms.
• Budget Management and Performance Oversight: Develop and execute financial budgets tailored to the unique needs of overseas subsidiaries. Monitor budget execution, analyze variances, and propose corrective measures to ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
• Tax Optimization and Compliance: Implement structured tax strategies to maximize preferential policies while ensuring timely and compliant tax filings. Collaborate with tax authorities to optimize tax liabilities and enhance financial planning.
• Cash Flow and Capital Management: Play a key role in establishing and refining cash management systems. Develop and execute cash flow and financing plans, ensuring optimal resource allocation and efficient capital utilization across subsidiaries.
