Key Responsibilities

Your work will span **cloud architecture, advisory, engineering, and implementation**, ensuring seamless integration of cloud technologies with business objectives. Key areas of focus include:

• Cloud Architecture & Advisory:
• Lead or contribute to architectural design sessions, leveraging frameworks such as the **Azure Cloud Adoption Framework** and **AWS Well-Architected Principles** to define scalable, secure, and future-proof cloud platforms.
• Develop **landing zone standards** that encompass identity and access management, enterprise networking, governance guardrails, policy enforcement, tagging, logging, resilience, and observability—ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide best practices.
• Design **account structures** and onboarding workflows for **Azure Management Groups, Subscriptions, AWS Organizations, and Organizational Units (OUs)**, fostering a unified governance model that balances flexibility with control.
• Create **enterprise connectivity blueprints**, including **hub-and-spoke, Transit, Virtual WAN, private connectivity, DNS resolution, and firewall architectures**, to optimize network performance and security.
• Facilitate **architecture review gates**, document trade-offs, and establish exception governance frameworks to ensure platform decisions are transparent, justified, and compliant.

• Cloud Engineering & Implementation:
• Implement **Azure landing zones** and account onboarding processes using **Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules**, including **Terraform**, to automate deployments and ensure consistency.
• Build and configure **network foundations**, such as **virtual networks, Virtual WANs, DNS resolution, routing, ExpressRoute, VPNs, Private Link, and firewall setups**, to support seamless connectivity and security.
• Deploy, configure, and baseline **Kubernetes clusters (AKS/EKS)**, establish **container registry standards**, and implement **Docker and Helm** configurations to ensure operational readiness and scalability.
• Apply **governance guardrails** using **Azure Policy, AWS Service Control Policies (SCPs), resource tagging, diagnostic settings, and logging configurations** to maintain compliance and visibility.
• Implement **identity and access patterns**, including **Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), least privilege principles, service principals, and managed identities**, to enhance security posture.

• Delivery, Documentation & Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Troubleshoot platform issues with a **root-cause analysis approach**, proposing actionable fixes that align with baseline standards and accelerate delivery timelines.
• Develop **evidence packs and operational handover artifacts**, such as **runbooks, monitoring dashboards, escalation paths, and support readiness inputs**, to ensure smooth transitions and ongoing success.
• Contribute to **reusable intellectual property**, including **blueprints, IaC modules, templates, checklists, and decision guides**, to accelerate future engagements and drive consistency across projects.
• Engage closely with **architects, security teams, developers, operations teams, and client stakeholders** to deliver practical, scalable, and business-aligned cloud solutions.

Key Profile Requirements

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

• **Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience** in **cloud architecture, cloud engineering, cloud infrastructure, platform delivery, or enterprise technology transformation**, with a strong foundation in **Azure and/or AWS**.
