Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic position, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Technical Leadership: Lead and deliver comprehensive electrical building services designs for a broad spectrum of projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
• Design Excellence: Author technical reports, detailed design calculations, specifications, and engineering documentation to support project objectives and ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborative Design: Produce and meticulously review electrical design drawings while coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to maintain design coherence and accuracy.
• System Optimization: Conduct surveys of existing electrical systems and propose innovative refurbishment and upgrade solutions that enhance performance, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
• Sustainable Innovation: Champion energy-efficient and sustainable electrical engineering solutions, integrating advanced technologies and green building principles into project deliverables.
• Project Delivery: Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, contributing to the successful execution of complex infrastructure initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between technical teams and clients, contractors, and architects, fostering transparent communication and alignment on project goals.
• Technical Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers and graduates, fostering knowledge transfer and professional development within the team.
• Continuous Improvement: Advocate for digital transformation and best practices, sharing insights and lessons learned to enhance team capabilities and project outcomes.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer with a proven track record in delivering impactful solutions. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering (Electrical), or a related discipline, with a commitment to achieving or maintaining Chartered Engineer (CEng) status through membership in professional bodies such as CIBSE or IET. Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is mandatory.
• Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in delivering electrical building services designs within consultancy or engineering environments, with a deep understanding of local and international building regulations, codes, and standards.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Amtech, IES, Relux, and Revit, along with experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and coordinated design environments.
• Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in commercial, hospitality, education, residential, healthcare, or mixed-use developments is highly advantageous. Additional value will be placed on prior involvement in multidisciplinary project delivery teams and a strong foundation in sustainable design principles.
