Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Architectural Designer, your responsibilities will span the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to final execution. Your strategic contributions will include:

• Conceptual Leadership: Lead the development of innovative design concepts, feasibility studies, and programming for residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects, ensuring alignment with Flow’s brand ethos and wellness-focused philosophy.
• Architectural Vision: Translate Flow’s brand identity and wellness principles into cohesive architectural solutions that prioritize human experience, functionality, and aesthetic harmony. This includes designing residential units, communal spaces, wellness amenities, hospitality environments, and lifestyle hubs that foster connection and comfort.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Act as a bridge between architecture, interiors, landscape, MEP, structural, and specialist consultants to ensure seamless integration of all design elements. Coordinate with external partners to refine technical details, material selections, and construction documentation.
• Technical Excellence: Utilize advanced tools like Revit to create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and construction documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, and design studies. Leverage proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Figma to enhance design clarity and efficiency.
• Problem-Solving: Address complex design challenges with creative, operationally sound, and commercially viable solutions. Evaluate layouts with a focus on resident experience, accessibility, circulation, furniture planning, and long-term usability.
• Material and Product Innovation: Conduct in-depth research to curate high-quality materials and products that align with Flow’s standards while enhancing the built environment’s functionality and appeal.
• Construction Administration: Oversee construction documentation, site inspections, and design reviews to ensure adherence to project specifications. Manage RFIs, shop drawings, and technical submissions to maintain project integrity.
• Knowledge Leadership: Contribute to the development of Flow’s architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Project Portfolio Management: Balance multiple projects and priorities with precision, delivering high-quality designs on time and within budget. Travel to Flow properties and project sites across the MENA region as needed to support on-site execution.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a passion for innovative, wellness-oriented architecture and a proven track record in residential, hospitality, and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or a related field, complemented by 10+ years of professional experience in architectural design.
• Deep expertise in residential architecture, hospitality environments, and wellness-focused developments, with a keen understanding of contemporary living trends and human-centered design principles.
• Proficient mastery of Revit, with strong skills in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Figma. Familiarity with industry-standard tools and software is essential.
• A design-led mindset that balances creativity with technical rigor, ensuring solutions are both inspiring and feasible.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work seamlessly across disciplines and with external stakeholders.
