Your Impact

As a Senior Wet Utilities Engineer at ARX, you will be at the forefront of designing and optimizing critical wet utility systems for large-scale infrastructure projects. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration of potable water, wastewater/sewerage, irrigation/TSE, and fire water systems—all while adhering to the highest standards of efficiency, sustainability, and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of wet utility systems for diverse infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder requirements.
• Technical Excellence: Perform and oversee advanced hydraulic calculations, network modeling, and pipe sizing using industry-leading software such as Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, and SewerGEMS to deliver optimized, high-performance designs.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to KSA’s local codes, standards, and utility authority requirements, mitigating risks and ensuring seamless approval processes.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Act as a bridge between wet utilities and other engineering disciplines, coordinating utility corridors, crossings, connections, and interfaces to create cohesive, functional infrastructure solutions.
• Technical Mentorship: Provide expert guidance to junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the organization.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government authorities, clients, and project stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals and operational needs.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and technical documentation to support project delivery and future reference.

Who You Are

We are looking for a seasoned professional with:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in the KSA.
• Proven expertise in wet utility systems, including design, construction, and operational best practices for potable water, wastewater, irrigation, and fire suppression systems.
• In-depth knowledge of KSA’s regulatory framework, including utility authority requirements, standards, and compliance protocols.
• Proficiency in engineering design and hydraulic modeling software, such as Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, and SewerGEMS, with the ability to interpret and apply complex data-driven insights.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with an added advantage for Arabic proficiency to facilitate seamless collaboration with local stakeholders.
• A problem-solving mindset, coupled with the ability to mentor and lead teams in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
