Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will span a broad spectrum of virtualization, server administration, and endpoint management, ensuring our infrastructure remains at the forefront of efficiency and reliability.

• Virtualization & Infrastructure Leadership: Design, implement, and optimize VMware ESXi and vCenter environments to ensure high availability, performance, and operational excellence. Leverage VMware vRealize Suite (vROps) to monitor and analyze infrastructure performance, identifying bottlenecks and recommending data-driven optimizations. Execute capacity planning, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure enhancements with precision, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Windows Server Administration: Manage and administer Windows Server 2016 and above environments with expertise, including upgrades, migrations, patch management, and troubleshooting. Monitor system performance rigorously and resolve complex infrastructure issues with a focus on stability, security, and compliance. Contribute to system hardening initiatives and ongoing optimization efforts to fortify our infrastructure against evolving threats.
• SCCM & Endpoint Management: Develop and deploy sophisticated application packages, task sequences, and software distributions using Microsoft SCCM (Configuration Manager). Oversee endpoint patching and security updates to maintain a secure and compliant IT environment. Provide end-to-end support for enterprise endpoint management, ensuring all systems adhere to industry best practices and organizational policies.
• Monitoring, Optimization, and Automation: Utilize advanced monitoring tools, reports, logs, and operational dashboards to track infrastructure health and performance. Proactively identify performance issues and propose innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency. Harness the power of PowerShell and automation scripts to streamline administrative tasks, reduce manual effort, and accelerate service delivery.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for VMware, SCCM, and Windows environments, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders. Support internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and IT asset lifecycle activities, including system decommissioning. Adhere to ITIL frameworks, change management protocols, and standardized operational procedures to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Vendor & Technical Support Coordination: Act as the primary liaison with VMware and Microsoft vendors for technical issues and escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of production problems. Manage support cases diligently, providing regular updates and follow-ups to maintain transparency and accountability.
