In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless coordination of import/export shipments and domestic transportation activities, including deliveries and pickups. As the key liaison between internal teams, customers, and external logistics partners, you will facilitate smooth communication, maintain accurate system updates, and drive efficient operational execution to uphold our commitment to exceptional service quality and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities

The Operation Coordinator will be responsible for a wide range of logistics activities, including:

• Shipment Coordination: Oversee the end-to-end coordination of import/export shipments, encompassing scheduling, tracking, deliveries, and pickups to ensure timely and accurate execution.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, network offices, freight forwarders, and internal teams, fostering clear and proactive communication to resolve queries and provide updates.
• Shipment Monitoring: Track shipment status in real-time, ensuring timely Proof of Delivery (POD) updates and promptly addressing any discrepancies or delays.
• Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate shipment issues, including delays, damages, or documentation discrepancies, to relevant stakeholders and propose corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Warehouse Support: Provide assistance with warehouse and physical handling activities as needed to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Customer Support: Deliver daily customer support by providing shipment updates, clarifying documentation requirements, and addressing concerns to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

Technical & Soft Competencies

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following competencies:

• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with logistics software, ERP systems, and tracking platforms to streamline operations and maintain data accuracy.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to documentation and operational tasks to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with proficiency in Arabic or European languages considered an asset for broader market engagement.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability to achieve shared objectives.

Experience & Qualifications

Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in import/export operations, freight forwarding, or logistics, with a strong understanding of customs documentation and Saudi logistics procedures.
• A competitive salary package ranging from SAR 7,000 to SAR 9,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
