Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Planning Manager to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate closely with the Planning Manager to develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive project plans, ensuring they align with business goals and regulatory requirements. This includes analyzing resource allocation, risk assessment, and contingency planning to mitigate potential disruptions.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of planning professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance on best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance team productivity and project delivery.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day planning activities, including scheduling, budget management, and progress tracking. Ensure seamless coordination between departments to optimize workflows and eliminate bottlenecks that may impede project timelines.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between senior management, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to facilitate clear communication, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment on project priorities. Your ability to build strong relationships will be critical to driving consensus and achieving collective goals.
• Performance Analysis & Reporting: Develop and present detailed reports on project status, milestones, and KPIs to senior leadership. Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, forecast challenges, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project momentum.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all planning activities adhere to industry standards, company policies, and regulatory frameworks. Implement robust governance structures to uphold quality assurance and mitigate compliance risks.

Qualifications & Competencies

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in project planning, preferably within a managerial or supervisory capacity. Prior experience in the [industry/sector, if applicable] is advantageous.
