Structural Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess over five years of hands-on expertise in the fabrication, erection, and inspection of a wide range of structural works, including pipe racks, technological structures, modular structures, columns, trusses, platforms (including circular platforms), ladders, staircases, handrails, equipment platforms, pipe supports, cable racks, crane gantry girders, monorails, and equipment structures. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in the dress-up of columns and vessels. This role demands a meticulous approach to structural design, execution, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Structural Design and Execution: Lead the fabrication, erection, and inspection of critical structural components, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards. This includes pipe racks, technological structures, modular frameworks, columns, trusses, and various platforms.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate exceptional ability to interpret structural drawings and material specifications with precision. Prepare comprehensive material look-ahead reports and resource planning documents to optimize productivity while maintaining stringent safety and quality benchmarks.
• Project Coordination and Compliance: Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct thorough certification reviews from clients, reconcile project scope, measurements, and materials to mitigate discrepancies and ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
• Quality Assurance and Safety: Uphold the highest standards of safety and quality throughout all structural works. Implement robust inspection protocols to identify and rectify potential issues proactively, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of structural works, including progress reports, material utilization, and compliance documentation. Facilitate transparent communication with stakeholders to ensure project transparency and accountability.

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural drawings, along with expertise in material planning and resource optimization, is essential. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, coupled with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail, will be critical to success in this role. Familiarity with industry safety standards and quality management systems is highly desirable.
