Position Overview

Eram Talent is seeking a dynamic and technically proficient IT Support Assistant with a Graphic Design Background to join our team. Reporting directly to the IT Supervisor or Operations Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining robust IT infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and producing high-impact design assets that elevate our organization’s communication and branding efforts.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Support Assistant will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks that bridge the gap between technical support and creative design. Core duties include:

• IT Support & Maintenance: Provide first-level technical assistance for hardware, software, and system-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations. Troubleshoot minor computer hardware, software, and network-related problems with efficiency and professionalism.
• System Documentation & Administration: Assist in maintaining accurate system documentation, operational procedures, and service request records. Support portal administration activities, including data backup management and user account coordination.
• Graphic Design & Visual Content Creation: Design and produce high-quality visual assets tailored for print and digital platforms, including brochures, presentations, banners, social media graphics, advertisements, and marketing collateral. Ensure all designs adhere to branding guidelines, typography standards, and visual communication best practices.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, deliver creative solutions, and support website or digital content updates as needed. Translate technical or complex information into visually engaging presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Technical & Creative Support: Assist senior IT personnel with software configuration, system maintenance, and technical support activities. Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for management review, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all deliverables.
• Compliance & Standards: Uphold organizational IT policies, security protocols, and branding standards to safeguard data integrity and maintain a cohesive visual identity across all communications.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a blend of technical proficiency and creative acumen. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a closely related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT support, complemented by a strong background in graphic design.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other industry-standard design tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on PowerPoint for presentation design and content creation.
  • Solid understanding of computer hardware, software installation, troubleshooting, and system support.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) and digital media platforms is a plus.
• Design Expertise: A keen eye for branding, typography, layout design, and visual communication, with the ability to create cohesive and impactful designs.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, strong multitasking capabilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment or work independently with minimal supervision.
• Preferred Background: Prior experience supporting engineering, technical, or corporate environments will be highly advantageous.
