Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Exceptional Patient Care: Provide immediate, evidence-based emergency medical treatment while addressing the physical, emotional, and cultural needs of patients with sensitivity and professionalism. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all EMS protocols at every stage of care.
• Operate and Maintain Critical Equipment: Ensure EMS vehicles and medical equipment are fully functional, reliable, and ready for deployment. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to prevent operational delays during emergencies.
• Stay Ahead of Healthcare Innovations: Continuously update your knowledge of EMS trends, medical advancements, and best practices to adapt your care strategies and improve patient outcomes.
• Efficient Administrative Coordination: Manage administrative tasks, including vehicle readiness checks, equipment inventory, and documentation, to ensure seamless operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate and Lead in Team Settings: Participate actively in EMS staff meetings to discuss operational updates, care protocols, and best practices. Foster a culture of teamwork by collaborating with fellow paramedics, nurses, and healthcare providers to deliver cohesive patient care.
• Commit to Professional Growth: Engage in ongoing training, skills maintenance, and educational initiatives to enhance your expertise. Stay certified in advanced life support protocols, including ACLS, PALS, and NRP, to ensure you are always at the top of your field.
• Anticipate and Resolve Challenges: Demonstrate proactive problem-solving to address potential issues before they escalate. Contribute to process improvements that enhance both patient care and workplace efficiency.
• Adhere to Medical Authority and Protocols: Strictly follow established privilege lists and approved medical protocols to ensure patient safety and legal compliance.
• Optimize Resource Utilization: Manage medical supplies and resources efficiently to minimize waste while ensuring all necessary equipment is available for patient care.
• Embrace Continuous Improvement: Actively seek feedback and implement innovative solutions to elevate the quality of care and the working environment for both patients and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven expertise as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in high-pressure emergency medical settings.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services or a higher qualification in a related healthcare field, demonstrating a strong foundation in medical science and patient care.
• Language Proficiency: Exceptional command of both oral and written English and Arabic, enabling effective communication with diverse patient populations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Certifications and Licenses: Must hold the following critical certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)
  • Emergency Vehicle Operator Safety (EVOS)
  • Valid Light Transportation Driving License
  • Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Certification
  • STEP English Test – 65%+ or IELTS 5.0+
