Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Skilled Helper to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless production operations by maintaining optimal material availability, supporting machine setups, and upholding stringent safety and environmental standards. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency, productivity, and compliance of our facility, particularly in the manufacturing of baby diapers, feminine napkins, underpads, and adult diapers.

Key Responsibilities

The Skilled Helper will be responsible for a range of duties designed to facilitate smooth production processes and maintain a safe, organized work environment. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Material Management: Ensure all raw materials are systematically arranged in their designated storage areas to optimize accessibility and minimize downtime. Proactively monitor and replenish materials to prevent any shortages that could disrupt machine operations.
• Waste Management: Maintain the proper placement and functionality of waste trolleys and bins to support efficient waste disposal and uphold cleanliness standards across the production floor.
• Machine Support: Assist the Machine Operator in setting up equipment and managing size changes to ensure seamless transitions between production runs. Coordinate with the team to address minor stoppages by organizing cleaning or repacking activities as needed.
• Operational Compliance: Strictly adhere to the instructions and guidelines provided by the Machine Operator to maintain consistency and precision in all tasks. Your role requires close collaboration and clear communication to uphold production targets.
• Safety and Environmental Stewardship: Prioritize safety by diligently following all safety protocols and environmental guidelines. Actively participate in toolbox talks led by the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) officer to stay informed about best practices and emerging safety measures. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) management system through consultation and participation in development, planning, implementation, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the necessary skills:

• Education: A high school diploma or technical diploma in a relevant field is required. Additional certifications or training in manufacturing processes will be considered an advantage.
• Communication: Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English is essential to ensure clear and effective interaction with team members and supervisors.
• Technical Understanding: A solid grasp of machine operations, safety practices, and production processes is critical. Familiarity with the manufacturing of hygiene products, such as baby diapers, feminine napkins, underpads, or adult diapers, is highly desirable.
• Attention to Detail: The ability to maintain precision in material organization, waste management, and machine support tasks is vital for minimizing errors and enhancing productivity.
• Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are necessary to support the Machine Operator and contribute to a cohesive production environment.
