Skilled Helper – Production Support Specialist

In this critical position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our production processes, particularly in the manufacturing of premium baby diapers, feminine napkins, underpads, and adult diapers. Your responsibilities will span across material management, machine setup assistance, and collaborative efforts to minimize downtime, all while adhering to stringent safety protocols and environmental guidelines.

As a Skilled Helper, your contributions will directly impact the productivity and reliability of our production lines. You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring Material Readiness: Organize and maintain raw materials in designated storage areas to guarantee their immediate availability. Your meticulous arrangement will help prevent costly machine stoppages and production delays, ensuring smooth workflow continuity.
• Supporting Machine Operations: Assist production operators in setting up machinery and facilitating size changes efficiently. Your hands-on support will enable seamless transitions between production runs, minimizing downtime and optimizing output.
• Maintaining a Clean and Organized Workspace: Oversee the proper placement of waste trolleys and bins to uphold a tidy and efficient production environment. Your attention to detail will contribute to a safer and more productive workspace for all team members.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: During minor stoppages, coordinate with machine workers to address cleaning or repacking tasks promptly. Your ability to act swiftly and collaboratively will help restore production to full capacity with minimal disruption.
• Adhering to Safety and Compliance Standards: Strictly follow all safety and environmental instructions, actively participating in toolbox talks led by our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) officer. Your commitment to safety will not only protect yourself and your colleagues but also ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Engaging in Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of our Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) management system. Your insights and contributions will help drive ongoing enhancements in workplace safety and operational excellence.

To excel in this role, you will bring a combination of technical aptitude and a strong work ethic. We are looking for candidates with:

• A high school diploma or technical diploma in a relevant field, demonstrating foundational knowledge in manufacturing or production processes.
• Proficient English language skills, including the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to collaborate with team members and follow instructions clearly.
• A solid understanding of machine operations, safety practices, and production workflows, enabling you to support operators and contribute to efficient manufacturing processes.
• Experience or familiarity with the manufacturing of hygiene products, such as baby diapers, feminine napkins, underpads, and adult diapers, though prior experience may be adapted through training.
• A proactive and team-oriented mindset, with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
