Assistant Manager, Medical Representation

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and ethical professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Medical Representation in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a key liaison between Nestlé and the medical community, ensuring the accurate and responsible dissemination of information regarding Nestlé Infant Nutrition products. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with medical and paramedical professionals, providing them with reliable, evidence-based insights into our products, their features, benefits, and appropriate usage—particularly in cases where breastfeeding is not feasible or chosen by mothers. This role operates within the strictest ethical and regulatory frameworks, including the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes, Nestlé’s corporate instructions, and local country regulations, to uphold the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ethical Product Promotion: Champion Nestlé’s core belief that breastfeeding is the optimal choice for infant health while providing accurate, balanced information about our Infant Nutrition products to medical and paramedical contacts. Ensure all communications align with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Expert Consultation: Deliver reliable, up-to-date information on infant nutrition and feeding practices tailored to the needs and interests of medical professionals. Serve as a trusted resource for healthcare providers seeking guidance on infant feeding alternatives.
• Scientific Engagement: Organize and participate in medical or paramedical scientific meetings focused on product knowledge, nutrition, or related topics. This includes coordinating sponsorships, inviting guest lecturers, and ensuring these events adhere to ethical and professional standards.
• Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and analyze competitor activities within your assigned territory, including tracking new product launches, communication strategies, and market trends. Report findings to the Medical Field Manager to inform strategic decision-making.
• Administrative Excellence: Maintain meticulous records of all correspondence, interactions, and activities conducted during daily operations. Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and regulatory standards.
• Contact Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive master list of contacts within your territory, categorizing them based on their level of interest and importance. Regularly update call records to ensure accurate and efficient engagement with key stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will possess a strong academic background and a commitment to ethical practices in medical representation. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Medicine, Nutrition, or Biology. While prior experience as a Medical Delegate is advantageous, we also welcome applications from motivated professionals eager to transition into this field.
