Information Technology Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Information Technology Manager to lead our IT operations with strategic vision and hands-on technical expertise. The ideal candidate will oversee the administration, optimization, and security of our IT infrastructure while managing a high-performing team to support business objectives. This role requires deep proficiency in Odoo ERP/CRM administration, robust technical skills across network and server environments, and strong leadership capabilities to drive IT initiatives in a multi-site, multi-project setting. Candidates with experience in systems integration, ICT/ELV, or low-current systems—particularly within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

The Information Technology Manager will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Odoo ERP/CRM Administration: Configure, customize, and maintain Odoo modules, including user and role management, workflow automation, and third-party integrations. Ensure system stability through regular database backups, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Network & Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN, switching, and routing solutions. Oversee structured cabling, IP telephony, and unified communications systems to ensure seamless connectivity and communication across all sites.
• Server & Cloud Administration: Manage Windows Server, Exchange Server, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V). Leverage cloud solutions such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Azure to enhance collaboration and scalability.
• Cybersecurity & Compliance: Develop and enforce security policies, including firewall management, endpoint protection, and disaster recovery planning. Conduct regular audits to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Team Leadership & IT Governance: Lead and mentor the IT support team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement processes to align technology investments with business goals.
• Incident Response & Problem-Solving: Serve as the primary point of contact for IT escalations, providing timely and effective solutions to technical issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex challenges and minimize downtime.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between technical teams, senior management, and clients, translating technical requirements into clear, actionable insights. Present IT strategies, progress reports, and budget proposals with confidence and clarity.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Hands-on experience administering Odoo ERP/CRM (module configuration, user management, workflow customization, and system maintenance) is mandatory; candidates without Odoo expertise will not be considered.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Odoo ERP/CRM administration (user management, module setup, workflow automation, integrations, backups, and troubleshooting).
  • Network infrastructure design, administration, and troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, switching, routing).
  • Server administration (Windows Server, Exchange Server, Active Directory, VMware/Hyper-V).
  • Cloud platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Azure).
  • Cybersecurity fundamentals (firewalls, endpoint protection, data backup/DR planning).
  • Understanding of structured cabling, CCTV/VMS, and access control systems.
  • Database management basics (SQL) for Odoo backend troubleshooting.
  • IP telephony and unified communications systems.
• Managerial & Soft Skills:
  • Proven ability to manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and develop the IT support team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and incident response capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Preferred certifications: PMP, ITIL, CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Certified (MCSA/MCSE), CompTIA Security+.

Additional Requirements

To thrive in this role, the successful candidate must:

• Be fluent in both English and Arabic.
• Be based in or willing to relocate to Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
• Hold Saudi nationality or a transferable iqama.
• Possess a valid Saudi driving license (preferred).
• Demonstrate willingness to travel to project sites within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as required.
