Senior Analyst - Accounting Operations

About the Role

Guy Carpenter is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst – Accounting Operations to join our dynamic Fiduciary team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of three days per week on-site to ensure seamless collaboration and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of Re-insurance Broking, while also leading transformative change management initiatives as part of ongoing system and process migrations. Key Responsibilities

In this critical position, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and operational duties designed to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction. Your core accountabilities will include:

• Fiduciary Fund Management: Process cash receipts and disbursements, perform reconciliations, and address resulting queries to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
• Performance Reporting: Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to generate insightful reports from the CSS Dashboard and other system tools, supporting personal cash processing and fiduciary targets.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of fiduciary systems, processes, policies, and procedures to guide day-to-day operations and decision-making.
• Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare, record, and report customer billing transactions, respond to stakeholder requests, and escalate issues appropriately to maintain high service standards.
• Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong client and market relationships to deliver value-added service and foster long-term partnerships.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams such as Compliance and Finance to resolve sensitive client issues and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Technical Development and Leadership

As a Senior Analyst, you will be expected to lead and participate in various initiatives that drive technical growth and operational excellence:

• Knowledge Sharing: Lead or participate in knowledge-sharing forums across onshore and offshore locations to enhance team capabilities.
• Mentorship and Training: Collaborate with peers to address complex reinsurance developments, provide training, mentorship, and guidance to team members, and clarify technical terminology and procedures.
• System and Process Improvement: Lead authorization and approvals on technical reports and documentation, participate in Business Continuity and Business Impact Analysis, and contribute to System Release Testing to identify and resolve bugs.
• Legacy Project Management: Drive legacy projects across regions to ensure minimal or zero balances in accounts aged 90+ days, improving working capital and reducing bad debt provisions.

Financial Performance and Compliance

Your role will also encompass critical financial and compliance responsibilities to ensure the organization’s adherence to regulatory standards and financial health:

• Financial KPI Reviews: Lead reviews of various financial KPIs, including Cash, Funding, Income Exposure, Receivables, Retentions, and Claims Collections, to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure adherence to internal and external regulatory guidelines, participate in internal and external audits at the team level, and maintain compliance with various mandates.
• Risk Management: Drive complex account and portfolio management with detailed account notes and memos, highlighting servicing methodologies and key concepts to ensure business continuity.
