Your Role as a Field Courier

As a Field Courier with DHL Express, you will serve as the face of our company, embodying our commitment to reliability, professionalism, and exceptional service. Your primary responsibility will be the efficient and safe collection and delivery of time-sensitive shipments, ensuring that every customer interaction reflects our core values of integrity and excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Pickup and Delivery: Safely and efficiently collect and deliver shipments to and from customer locations within your designated route, ensuring timely and accurate service.
• Customer Service: Provide outstanding service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in every interaction.
• Shipment Handling: Handle all shipments with care, ensuring they are correctly scanned, securely packaged, and accompanied by accurate documentation. Maintain meticulous records to uphold compliance and quality standards.
• Route Management: Plan and execute the most efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines, taking into account traffic patterns, weather conditions, and other logistical factors to optimize performance.
• Vehicle Operation & Safety: Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with all traffic laws. Conduct daily vehicle inspections, report any maintenance needs, and ensure your vehicle remains in optimal condition at all times.
• Technology Utilization: Leverage handheld scanners and other company technologies to track shipments, update delivery statuses in real-time, and manage routes efficiently.
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards, including customs regulations, security protocols, and guidelines for handling dangerous goods.

Your Profile

To excel in this role, you will bring a combination of education, experience, and personal attributes that align with our high standards of professionalism and customer service.

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required to ensure you possess the foundational knowledge necessary for this role.
• Driver’s License: You must hold a valid Saudi Arabian driver’s license with a clean driving record. A lightweight or heavyweight driver’s license is acceptable, depending on the requirements of the role.
• Local Knowledge: A deep understanding of Saudi Arabia, including its geography, traffic patterns, and cultural nuances, is essential for navigating routes efficiently and providing exceptional service.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English is mandatory to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Basic to intermediate Arabic language skills are highly advantageous and will enhance your ability to engage with a diverse customer base.
• Physical Fitness: The role requires the ability to lift and handle packages of varying weights, often in challenging conditions. You should be physically active and capable of maintaining high energy levels throughout your shift.
