Petromaster is seeking a skilled and motivated Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Inspector to enhance our team of professionals dedicated to ensuring the integrity and reliability of critical assets across Saudi Arabia and international projects. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in performing high-quality inspections using advanced NDT methods to identify defects, assess structural integrity, and support asset integrity management.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nondestructive Testing Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting Inspections: Perform thorough inspections using industry-standard NDT methods such as Visual Testing (VT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), and Radiographic Testing (RT) to detect flaws, cracks, corrosion, or other anomalies in materials and structures.
• Ensuring Compliance: Adhere to international and client-specific standards, including ASNT, ISO, and API, to ensure inspections meet regulatory and safety requirements. Maintain accurate records of inspection results and generate detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborating with Teams: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and field teams to plan and execute inspection schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Utilize your technical expertise to interpret inspection data, identify potential issues, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks and prevent failures in critical assets.
• Staying Current with Industry Trends: Continuously update your knowledge of emerging NDT technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices to enhance inspection accuracy and efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education and Certification: A technical diploma or degree in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering, materials science, or NDT. ASNT Level II certification in one or more NDT methods is highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in NDT inspection, with a proven track record in applying VT, UT, LPT, MPT, and RT methods. Familiarity with Replica Metallography, Hardness Testing, and Thermography Testing is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of NDT principles, equipment operation, and data interpretation. Experience with Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) for underwater inspections is considered an advantage.
• Language Skills: Fluency in both Arabic and English to effectively communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in challenging environments.
