Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dermatologist to join our esteemed medical team at مجمع أطباء الخليج الطبي in Al Khobar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive consultations, diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of skin, hair, and nail disorders, and developing tailored treatment plans to meet each patient’s unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

The Dermatologist will play a pivotal role in the clinic’s operations, executing a diverse range of clinical and procedural duties with precision and care. Primary responsibilities include:

• Patient Consultation and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough clinical examinations to assess skin, hair, and nail conditions, accurately diagnosing dermatological disorders and underlying causes.
• Treatment Planning and Management: Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including prescribing medications, topical therapies, and systemic treatments tailored to individual patient needs.
• Procedural Expertise: Perform minor dermatological procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and intralesional injections, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
• Acne and Chronic Condition Management: Provide specialized care for acne and other chronic dermatological conditions, including long-term follow-up and patient education on management strategies.
• Cosmetic Dermatology: Offer advanced cosmetic treatments, including laser therapy, chemical peels, dermal fillers, and botulinum toxin injections, to enhance patient aesthetics and confidence.
• Patient Education and Preventive Care: Advise patients on preventive skin care practices, sun protection, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term skin health and minimize recurrence of conditions.
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including general practitioners, plastic surgeons, and nurses, to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to clinical, safety, and ethical standards in accordance with local regulations and clinic protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and professional attributes:

• Medical Foundation: A strong academic background in Medicine, complemented by specialized training and certification in Dermatology.
• Clinical Expertise: Proven experience in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of dermatological conditions, with a focus on acne and chronic skin disorders.
• Cosmetic Proficiency: Hands-on experience in cosmetic dermatology, including proficiency in aesthetic procedures such as laser treatments, injectables, and chemical peels.
• Licensure and Certification: A valid medical license to practice Dermatology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, or eligibility to obtain one. Board certification or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Dermatology is highly desirable.
• Professional Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate patients and collaborate with colleagues. A patient-centered approach with a commitment to delivering compassionate and personalized care.
