Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Interface and Configuration Management will play a critical role in aligning technical solutions with business objectives. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive interface and configuration management strategies that support organizational goals, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and IT governance frameworks.
• Process Optimization: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of interface and configuration management processes to enhance system reliability, reduce downtime, and minimize operational risks.
• Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership to facilitate clear communication, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, internal policies, and best practices in interface and configuration management. Identify potential risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate them, safeguarding the organization’s assets and reputation.
• Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance on interface design, configuration standards, and integration methodologies. Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance system performance and scalability.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of interface and configuration management processes. Regularly report on progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement to senior leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, or CISSP) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in interface and configuration management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Experience in the construction, infrastructure, or engineering sectors is a strong advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of interface protocols, configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef), and enterprise systems. Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, and integration frameworks is essential.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, drive organizational change, and foster a culture of excellence. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills are critical.
• Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in interface and configuration management, particularly within the Middle East or GCC region.
