Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities, ensuring that every project runs like a well-oiled machine:

• Schedule Development & Baseline Management: Craft and maintain meticulously detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, covering all critical phases—civil works, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), finishing, mobilization, and handover. Validate the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), activity logic, durations, and dependencies to create robust baselines. Implement rigorous change control processes to ensure that approved schedules remain aligned with project execution strategies, minimizing disruptions and delays.
• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Act as the primary point of contact for collecting, verifying, and updating site progress data on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Generate comprehensive reports, including S-curves, look-ahead schedules, manpower/resource histograms, and dynamic management dashboards. Conduct in-depth schedule variance analyses to identify critical path shifts, root causes of delays, and recommend actionable recovery strategies to keep projects on track.
• Earned Value & Coordination: Leverage Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to track performance metrics such as Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Cost Performance Index (CPI), and forecast-at-completion trends. Collaborate closely with cost control teams to integrate schedule and financial data, ensuring a unified source of truth for project status. Actively participate in progress meetings, follow up on action items, and tailor reporting formats to meet the specific requirements of clients and consultants.
• General Responsibilities: Drive continuous professional development by acquiring and refining both technical and soft skills, while aligning your career growth with alfaanr’s strategic objectives. Ensure timely delivery of planned activities, optimizing resource allocation to achieve operational targets within cost and time constraints. Provide structured, periodic reports highlighting deviations and execution progress, fostering transparency and accountability.
• Problem-Solving & Quality Assurance: Proactively address operational challenges, escalating complex issues to the appropriate stakeholders while maintaining a focus on quality. Implement robust quality control processes and specifications to uphold alfaanr’s high standards across all projects and activities.
• Business Process Improvements: Contribute to the refinement of written systems, policies, and procedures, while identifying opportunities for automation to enhance efficiency. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that processes evolve in tandem with alfaanr’s growth and technological advancements.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere strictly to alfaanr’s policies, procedures, and work instructions, ensuring full compliance with industry regulations. Prioritize health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards within your area of responsibility, guaranteeing the delivery of high-quality products and services while maintaining legislative compliance.
