Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to join our team and deliver exceptional specialty coffee experiences to our customers. In this role, you will craft high-quality beverages using premium coffee beans, while providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Coffee Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks with precision, following established recipes and maintaining consistency in taste and presentation. Utilize advanced techniques to highlight the unique flavors of each coffee bean.
• Customer Engagement: Deliver friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service to every customer. Address inquiries about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Workspace Management: Ensure the workspace is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and staff.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing tools, with a focus on efficiency and safety. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to uphold equipment performance.
• Inventory and Stock Control: Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, tracking stock levels, and ensuring adequate supplies of coffee beans, syrups, and other essentials. Report any discrepancies or shortages promptly.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to streamline daily operations, support peak-hour demands, and foster a positive team dynamic. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and shared success.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a barista in a specialty coffee setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality beverages.
• Coffee Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods (e.g., pour-over, French press, cold brew), and espresso techniques. Ability to identify and describe flavor notes and characteristics of different coffee varieties.
• Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and consistency in product quality.
• Customer Service: Exceptional communication skills and a customer-centric approach, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
