As a Sr. Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products achieve maximum visibility and availability in retail outlets. Your responsibilities will include executing planograms, maintaining product freshness, and providing critical market insights to enhance sales opportunities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering excellence in retail execution.

Key Responsibilities

The Sr. Merchandiser will be responsible for the following core duties:

• Retail Execution: Visit assigned outlets as per the daily journey plan to merchandise PepsiCo products, including SSFL items, across various access points such as shelves, stands, and floor displays.
• Planogram Adherence: Ensure all product placements strictly follow approved planograms to optimize shelf presence and customer engagement.
• Product Management: Rotate stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method, remove sub-standard products, and maintain a clean and fresh inventory at all times.
• Point-of-Sale (POS) Materials: Place and maintain POS materials adjacent to PepsiCo displays to enhance brand visibility and promotional effectiveness.
• Competitive Monitoring: Track and report competitive activities and any deviations from agreed terms with assigned customers or outlets to the pre-seller or supervisor.
• Sampling and Promotions: Participate in in-store sampling sessions and promotional campaigns when required to drive consumer engagement and sales.
• Market Insights: Provide the pre-seller with up-to-date market information to capitalize on selling opportunities and address any challenges proactively.
• Reporting and Compliance: Submit daily activity reports and ensure adherence to PepsiCo’s code of conduct, maintaining a professional appearance and behavior at all times.

Key Performance Measures

Success in this role will be evaluated based on the following key performance indicators:

• Execution Standard: Consistently meet or exceed retail execution benchmarks to ensure optimal product availability and visibility.
• LTA Enforcement: Strictly enforce Local Trade Agreements to maintain compliance with PepsiCo’s standards and customer agreements.
• Journey Plan Adherence: Follow the daily journey plan with precision to maximize efficiency and coverage across assigned outlets.

Qualifications and Competencies

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Valid Driving License: Possess a valid driver’s license to travel to assigned outlets efficiently.
• Service-Oriented Mindset: Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, pre-sellers, and retail partners.
