Key Responsibilities

• Manuscript Evaluation and Enhancement: Review and edit research manuscripts to improve clarity, coherence, and readability while preserving the authors’ original intent. Ensure that scientific arguments, terminology, and conventions align with discipline-specific standards and best practices.
• Accuracy and Consistency: Verify the accuracy of subject-specific terminology, study design, methodology, statistics, and interpretations to maintain scientific rigor and discipline-specific relevance.
• Publication Readiness: Refine the presentation of complex research findings to enhance their communication and increase the likelihood of acceptance in high-impact journals. Adhere to journal-specific guidelines and format manuscripts accordingly to meet submission requirements.
• Language and Style Optimization: Edit manuscripts to eliminate unclear, illogical, or unidiomatic sentences, ensuring the final text adheres to the highest standards of academic writing in English.
• Collaborative Refinement: Work closely with authors to provide constructive feedback and suggestions that improve the overall quality and impact of their research submissions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Background: A PhD degree in Nuclear Medicine or Medical Physics is mandatory. Candidates with additional qualifications in related fields will be given preference.
• Publication Record: A strong publication history with 5–10 or more first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals is essential. Demonstrated experience in scientific writing and research dissemination is highly valued.
• Peer Review Experience: Prior involvement in peer review processes, either as a reviewer or editor, is preferred. This experience will enable you to critically assess study design, methodology, and data interpretation with precision.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to critically evaluate scientific content, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and ensure discipline-specific accuracy in manuscripts.
• Language Excellence: Exceptional written English skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring manuscripts are polished and free of errors.
• Industry Experience: Prior experience in scientific editing, academic publishing, or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
