Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior HR Business Partner to collaborate closely with senior leadership in driving organizational success through transformative human resources initiatives. This pivotal role serves as a trusted advisor, aligning HR strategies with business objectives to foster talent excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in talent management, organizational development, and workforce planning, while ensuring adherence to employment legislation and HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior HR Business Partner will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization by executing the following responsibilities with precision and strategic foresight:

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with overarching business goals and drive operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement innovative HR strategies that support organizational growth, scalability, and competitive advantage.
  • Contribute to workforce planning and organizational design, ensuring optimal talent deployment and structural efficiency.
  • Analyze workforce trends, metrics, and people analytics to provide data-driven insights that inform executive decision-making.

Talent Management & Succession Planning

  • Lead comprehensive talent review processes to identify high-potential employees and critical skill gaps.
  • Design and execute robust succession plans to ensure leadership continuity and mitigate talent risks.
  • Partner with managers to enhance leadership capabilities and cultivate a robust internal talent pipeline.
  • Champion career development initiatives and internal mobility programs to maximize employee potential and retention.

Performance Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual evaluations.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance improvement strategies and employee development.
  • Monitor performance outcomes and recommend targeted interventions to enhance individual and team productivity.
  • Ensure seamless alignment between employee objectives and broader business priorities.

Learning & Development

  • Conduct organizational and individual training needs assessments to identify skill development opportunities.
  • Develop and execute annual learning and development plans that align with strategic business priorities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and track employee development progress to measure impact.
  • Support leadership development initiatives and executive coaching programs to cultivate future-ready leaders.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
  • Manage sensitive employee issues, conduct thorough investigations, and facilitate conflict resolution.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, action planning, and culture enhancement programs.
  • Promote an inclusive, high-performance work culture that fosters collaboration, innovation, and employee well-being.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Support compensation reviews, salary benchmarking, and job evaluation activities to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on reward and recognition programs to drive motivation and retention.
  • Ensure compensation practices remain aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in annual budgeting and workforce cost planning to optimize financial resource allocation.

Organizational Development

  • Lead change management initiatives and transformation projects to drive organizational agility and resilience.
  • Support organizational restructuring and workforce effectiveness programs to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain clear organization structures, role definitions, and job architecture frameworks.
  • Facilitate culture and organizational effectiveness initiatives to align workplace dynamics with strategic goals.

HR Policies & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards to mitigate employment risks.
  • Review, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to reflect best practices and organizational needs.
  • Advise management on employment-related risks, legal considerations, and compliance obligations.
  • Maintain HR governance frameworks and ensure audit readiness to uphold organizational integrity.

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor HR key performance indicators (KPIs) and workforce metrics to assess organizational health.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations that provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Leverage HR data and analytics to identify trends, anticipate challenges, and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Support strategic workforce planning initiatives through evidence-based workforce insights and forecasting.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, HRCI) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior HR Business Partner or strategic HR leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in talent management, organizational development, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and translate insights into strategic actions.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities to influence at all organizational levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practices, and industry trends.
  • Proven leadership in driving cultural transformation and fostering high-performing teams.
