Datamatics Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager - Technical Infrastructure Specialist to lead and oversee our technical infrastructure operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure solutions that align with the organization’s strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities

The Manager - Technical Infrastructure Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure. The position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including:

• Infrastructure Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive technical infrastructure strategy that supports business growth, digital transformation, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with senior leadership to align infrastructure initiatives with organizational goals.
• System Design and Implementation: Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise-level infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud solutions. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and adherence to industry best practices.
• Security and Compliance: Establish and enforce robust security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard critical data and systems. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and local cybersecurity regulations.
• Team Leadership and Development: Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to a high-performing technical team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to enhance team productivity and innovation.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders. Negotiate contracts, evaluate service-level agreements (SLAs), and ensure timely delivery of infrastructure solutions.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Implement proactive monitoring tools and methodologies to assess infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions. Optimize resource utilization to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and ensure rapid restoration of critical services in the event of an incident.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess relevant experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, ITIL, CCNA, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience (8+ years) in managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms. Hands-on experience with technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, Cisco, Dell EMC, and public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is essential.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, with a track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking: Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical challenges efficiently. Ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to complex infrastructure issues.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure trends, emerging technologies, and industry standards. Familiarity with IT governance frameworks, such as COBIT and ISO 20000, is a plus.
