Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Strategic Leadership and Operational Excellence: Conduct in-depth assessments of ZATCA’s current systems and database operations to identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure alignment with evolving standards and best practices.
• Database and Systems Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and oversee the development of robust database designs. Review and finalize capacity planning to ensure that all projects are executed in alignment with strategic goals and operational needs.
• Operational Oversight and Performance Optimization: Monitor ZATCA’s systems and databases on a daily basis to guarantee optimal performance, reliability, and security. Develop and implement maintenance plans tailored to technical requirements, coordinating closely with internal teams and external vendors to execute upgrades and patches efficiently.
• Automation and Process Improvement: Evaluate the feasibility of automating repetitive tasks and develop scripts to streamline daily operations, reducing manual effort and minimizing human error. Continuously seek innovative solutions to enhance operational workflows and system resilience.
• Incident Management and Troubleshooting: Provide expert technical support for complex incidents and escalated tickets, conducting root-cause analysis to resolve issues effectively. Serve as the primary point of contact for high-impact problems, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
