About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• IT Strategy and Governance: Assist in the formulation, implementation, and ongoing refinement of the IT strategy and governance model, including policies, procedures, and frameworks. Ensure strict adherence to these standards across the organization.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a bridge between business units and IT, translating data-related requirements into clear priorities and ensuring mutual understanding. Facilitate effective communication to align IT initiatives with business goals.
• Risk and Compliance Management: Support risk assessment and audit processes by identifying IT-related risks, addressing audit findings, and implementing mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory mandates, and industry standards.
• Reporting and Metrics: Develop and present comprehensive reports on IT governance metrics, compliance status, and performance indicators to senior management and key stakeholders. Highlight trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies within IT governance processes and propose data-driven solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and maturity. Focus on areas such as IT Service Management (ITSM) governance, including CMDB, service catalog data, incident, problem, change, and asset management.
• Framework Alignment: Ensure adherence to globally recognized frameworks, including ISO 20000, ISO 27001, COBIT, and ITIL, to maintain robust governance and operational excellence.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess a blend of technical expertise, analytical acumen, and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT governance, compliance, or risk management, coupled with a passion for driving continuous improvement.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Preferred certifications include CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, or COBIT, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence in governance, risk, and compliance.

Essential Skills

• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO20K. Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and emerging technologies.
• Risk and Compliance: Expertise in risk assessment, management, and IT change management processes. Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Vendor and Relationship Management: Experience in managing vendor relationships and delivering clear, actionable reports to stakeholders. Strong negotiation and communication skills to foster collaborative partnerships.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving: A keen analytical mindset with the ability to dissect complex issues, identify root causes, and drive solutions to resolution. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to data analysis.
